IMPACT INVESTING!

As President and Founder of TANGO, and The TANGO Foundation one of my favorite “duties” is giving away money! But let’s be real here…I’m not simply giving away cash for the fun of it. We are making strategic investments, often referred to as Impact Investing.

The TANGO Foundation was created to financially support “rising stars” who have chosen a career path in the nonprofit sector. Each year we invest dollars in a few chosen individuals to pay for additional professional development so they can be even more impactful within their sponsoring nonprofit organization. By investing in these Rising Stars we feel we are helping to groom the next generation of nonprofit leadership.

Our selection committee is currently reviewing scholarship nominations, yet there is still time to participate! If you have a “Rising Star” who has a proven track record within your organization and could benefit from an investment in their future professional growth, please submit an application at wwwtangoalliance/foundation.

2025 Recipients will be invited to a pre-game ceremony on the field at TANGO’s Celebrate Nonprofit Night at Dunkin’ Park, the home of the Hartford Yard Goats on June 12th.
