Summertime

I hope you are all taking some time out of your busy life to enjoy this time of year. It’s hard to believe that August is upon us and in the blink of an eye it will be fall. Before I get back to writing about TANGO business I must say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed teaching my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter Isla how to catch fish…

Ok, back to work!

We have been very busy putting the final touches on our Annual Building Bridges Nonprofit Conference scheduled for September 26. This day is designed to bring together the best minds in both the nonprofit world and the socially conscious business world. Our speakers are excited to share with you the emerging trends and strategies that are helping solve the many challenges confronting nonprofits.  A full agenda will be forthcoming soon but please mark your calendars to join us. I promise that you will leave with at least one great idea to help move your organization forward.  This conference is complimentary to our TANGO Members and those in the nonprofit sector so make sure to RSVP Today!

TANGO’s footprint continues to rapidly grow. In October we will be formally launching a hub in the Capital Region of New York. We have spent quite a bit of time there recently with some very impressive leaders who are excited to help us usher in TANGO to their region. While we’re now close to 1800 TANGO members, I’m convinced that growth is good, the bigger we get the more we can do to help the sector!

In closing, I want to thank you for supporting TANGO. This collaboration platform of socially conscious businesses and nonprofits working together to help build capacity through business-oriented education, preferred services and mission support continues to expand. It’s living proof that it is possible to “do well by doing good”!

I hope you enjoy the remaining weeks of summer. Please take the time to pause and focus on what’s truly important…like catching fish!
