Proud Moments!

Of all the things we do everyday to support the nonprofit sector, nothing gives me more pleasure than to recognize our TANGO Foundation Nonprofit Rising Star Scholarship recipients.

As many of you know, earlier this month we held our annual Celebrate Nonprofits Night at the home of the Hartford Yard Goats in beautiful Dunkin’ Park. Not only did we give away 800+ tickets to our nonprofit members we also awarded scholarships to four individuals who have been nominated as true “Rising Stars” within their nonprofit organizations.

I want to thank all the nonprofit leaders who submitted nomination applications for our Rising Star Scholarship’s. The selection process is difficult, I wish we had the dollars to support all the fantastic nominees we received…maybe someday we will!

The following individuals were standouts who we feel will significantly benefit from our investment in their professional growth. We expect that this investment will help develop the next generation of nonprofit leaders.

Lastly, as we roll into the summer months, I hope all our Members and Partners find some time to kick back with family and friends. The Fall will be here quickly and we at TANGO have a lot going on including our Building Bridges Conference on Thursday 9/26. We are also excited about the  expansion initiatives with TANGO Hubs being created in Fairfield County CT, The Capital Region/Albany NY, New York City and New Jersey.
