The TANGO Foundation….Grooming The Next Generation of Leadership

One of my favorite activities of the year is to award our TANGO Foundation Nonprofit Rising Star Scholarship awards. Every year we ask our nonprofit members to nominate a “Rising Star” within their organization to potentially receive funding for additional professional development. These nominees have demonstrated a pattern of success, yet lack the funding to invest in their own professional growth.

We have chosen three exceptional people to receive our 2025 scholarship awards.

This year we have also expended our commitment to helping support professional growth and effective leadership within the sector by paying for (investing in) the IRise Management Development Program for an additional 20 well deserving Rising Stars.

This 6 session Program will provide the following:
Session 1: Leadership and Influencing Skills
Session 2: Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Session 3: Decision Making and Problem Solving
Session 4: Performance Management and Accountability
Session 5: Employee Engagement: Retention-Focused Leadership
Session 6: Change Management and Operational Excellence

We are thrilled to have partnered with our long time TANGO Partner and Member, The Connection’s Institute for Innovative Practice. Notifications to the recipients will be going out next week…congrats!   We are confident that this professional support will further ignite the spark you have already demonstrated as a rising star!

This is just another way that TANGO is helping nonprofits thrive…from a business perspective.
