Reliance Health, Inc.

Reliance Health provides services to adults with mental health, substance use, and/or developmental disabilities via 2 office locations in downtown Norwich, CT and 14 residential sites throughout Eastern Connecticut. The agency was established in 1976 and has grown to serve over 1,500 adults per year with funding primarily sourced from the Connecticut Departments of Mental Health and Addiction Services and Developmental Services. The mission of Reliance Health, to partner with adults experiencing mental health, addiction, and developmental disabilities to enhance the qualities of their lives, tethered with our values of respect, recovery, self-determination, growth, choice, and unity in diversity have guided our vision and allowed us to become leaders in the field.

Services are person-centered, choice driven, holistically designed, and woven into the fabric of the community. In addition to mental health services, Reliance Health offers community enhancing opportunities through a free art gallery, educational and training sessions, health and wellness workshops, workforce development partnerships, Chamber of Commerce participation, legislative advocacy, workforce and economic development, and more.
