It was a tremendous evening and a sold-out crowd at the Connecticut Sun’s Women of Inspiration Night.

Before the game, TANGO Partners and Members gathered for a pre-game reception followed by representatives from our Women Take the Lead initiative holding the stars & stripes at center court for the playing of our national anthem.

The CT Sun and Chicago Sky did not disappoint in front of a packed house! Despite 20 rebounds by rookie sensation Angel Reese, newly acquired Marina Mabrey’s 24 points and free throws by Alyssa Thomas with 4 seconds remaining in the game pushed the Sun past the Sky 82-80.
