Did you know that after January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7? While non-profits are often “easy targets” for cyber attacks, this is yet another vulnerability putting them at the mercy of a hacker. A hacker’s goal is to infiltrate organizations in the masses to exfiltrate data as quickly as possible. An easy way for them to accomplish this goal is to exploit unpatched vulnerabilities for unsupported workstations. The best way to avoid falling fate to these attacks is to employ a proactive cybersecurity program. At Kyber, we’ve designed a proactive cybersecurity program specifically for non-profits and SMBs utilizing a defense-in-depth approach.
