Spring has sprung!

What a wonderful time of year and with it comes a renewed sense of excitement; especially as we plan our spring TANGO activities.

A couple notable events that lie ahead are our annual TANGO Foundation Golf Invitational on May 15th to raise money for our TANGO Foundation. As you may know, every year The TANGO Foundation provides scholarships to people who have been nominated as a Rising Star by their nonprofit employer. We invest in these individuals by providing the dollars needed to pay for a customized professional development program helping them grow and become more impactful within their sponsoring organization. If you have a rising star in your ranks, there’s still time to nominate them; simply go to TANGO Rising Star Nonprofit Scholarships!  We also have a few spaces left to play in our golf tournament and of course we welcome additional sponsors. Then we host TANGO’s Celebrate Nonprofit Night at the Hartford Yard Goats at Dunkin Donuts Park on June 13th. We will be donating hundreds of tickets to our local nonprofit members for the game, and we also have an on the field ceremony to recognize our Rising Star Nonprofit Scholarship award winners. This is always a fun event and I hope to see you there.

Between all this fun stuff we continue to provide a steady stream of business oriented educational opportunities all designed to help nonprofits thrive. Thank you for being part of our growing community on now over 1700 nonprofits.
