THE TANGO FOUNDATION

The TANGO Foundation’s mission is to help groom the next generation of nonprofit leadership. This is achieved by financially supporting educational opportunities for individuals who work in the nonprofit sector.

Our “Rising Star Nonprofit Scholarships” are awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a pattern of success and a passion for the work they perform. These funds support the continued professional development of these rising stars so they can be more impactful within their organizations.

Nomination Process

In June of 2024 we were happy to provide four Rising Star Scholarships where the funds will support the continued professional development of our recipients so they can be more impactful within their organizations. We are now accepting applications for our 2025 Rising Stars!

Each Spring the TANGO Foundation Rising Star Review Committee will choose a nominee(s) they feel is deserving of our scholarship(s). These nominees must meet the following criteria to become a recipient of these awards:

Proven track record of success in their current position
Passion for the mission they serve
Ability to become a positive change agent within their organization
Desire to learn and grow professionally

Eligibility
Applicants for our scholarships must be nominated by their nonprofit employer who is a current member of TANGO. Applications must be submitted no later than Wednesday, May 14th 2025.
