This workshop will give participants a comprehensive tour of the various ways through which nonprofit organizations can work together to further their tax-exempt purposes and navigate Connecticut’s challenging financial landscape. Contractual collaborations, corporate affiliations, joint-ventures and statutory mergers will be among the options discussed.

Our speakers will also share practical advice learned from regularly counseling clients in connection with these transactions and will also offer time tested tips to better ensure success or, in the alternative, to allow you to walk away before unnecessarily expending significant resources in pursuit of an imprudent transaction.
