Women Take the Lead – June 8th

Join us Thursday, June 8, at the Hill-Stead Museum for our next Women Take The Lead event. Our special guest speaker will be Lana Gifas, Executive Director of the Women’s Mentoring Network, Inc. Ms. Gifas earned her MBA and an undergraduate degree from The Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University and has worked at various financial institutions throughout her career before transitioning to her current role at Women’s Mentoring Network.

Women’s Mentoring Network is a nonprofit located in Stamford, CT, that focuses on the economic empowerment of women and their families, providing support services that focus on finding better employment and educational opportunities.

Under her leadership, Women’s Mentoring Network was awarded Moffly Media’s Light a Fire Women’s Impact Award in 2020, and both the National Association of Social Workers of CT Latino/a/x Award and the SHero Award from the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity in 2021.

Women Take the Lead was created by TANGO to help female leaders in the nonprofit sector by providing peer networking, business development education, and mentoring, and you can connect with like-minded women working to change their worlds!
