Changing World. . .

It seems that as soon as things start to improve something new emerges to occupy our worried souls. A week ago temperatures approached the 60’s here in New England, there was a hint of spring in the air creating a feeling that we made it through another winter. All signs indicate that the worst of the pandemic is behind us, the economy is continuing to expand…all good!

Wham; Putin invades Ukraine.

In this day and age it seems almost unfathomable that a major power like Russia would attack a smaller neighboring country, but it’s happening.

As we all know, the world is filled with bad actors. The mission of many nonprofits is to help and bring hope to those less fortunate or who have been victims of the many evils that exist in the real world. This international crisis reminds me that in difficult times we rely on your support and I salute you for your efforts.

History tells us that this conflict will pass, not without casualties and heartbreak but it will pass. It is our hope that the leadership of our country and NATO will orchestrate severe sanctions that lead to a rapid conclusion to Putin’s authoritarian conquest. The world is watching.

On another note, we at TANGO are constantly striving to bring more resources that “help nonprofits thrive” (our tagline). This issue of TANGO Trends will include a survey, and your feedback is important to us; so please take a couple minutes to complete our short survey. Our momentum continues to grow with new members, partners and programs and your input will help us shape the future of TANGO.

Thank you in advance for your participation and involvement in the TANGO community!

Best regards,
Rollin
