Summertime!

I’m writing this TANGO Trends commentary from a plane heading to two days of meetings in Austin TX. There is significant interest in establishing a TANGO hub there. Austin has a strong sense of community and a vibrant culture that is now host to over 16,000 nonprofit organizations. I’m looking forward to seeing what develops…remember, the bigger we get the more we can do to support the sector!

This was not a timely trip for me, I left behind a very active household (God bless my wife!). This week we are hosting 5 family members from Norway, my brother-in-law and his 5 family members from Alaska…plus our daughter, her husband, dog and newborn are also with us. Most of our wonderful visitors are between the ages of 16 to 23, I’ve never seen so much food get consumed so quickly!  But that’s what’s summer is all about.

I hope you can take a little time to enjoy your loved ones. The fall will be here before we know it and with it comes a flurry of activity so enjoy what’s left of the summer!
