Join us Thursday, March 19th for our Q1 Women Take the Lead event at The New Britain Museum of American Art!
Complimentary to all women associated with a Nonprofit Organization!
“Leadership is not only shaped by strategy and skill, but by what is happening internally in the body and nervous system”
In this session, special guest speaker Ellen Palmer, Founder if Ellen Palmer Wellness will offer a practical overview of foundational women’s health and explore how perimenopause and menopause can influence mental health, emotional regulation, and energy.
The discussion will focus on how increased awareness supports more sustainable leadership, clearer decision-making, and greater self-trust during periods of change. This session also invites women leaders to consider health as a leadership asset and to engage in a conversation that is both informative and deeply human.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand foundational elements that support women’s health and mental clarity
- Recognize how midlife transitions can affect stress, mood, and leadership presence
- Reframe health challenges as signals rather than personal shortcomings
- Identify supportive practices that foster resilience and long-term sustainability
- Connect with peers through shared experience and reflection
