Services provided:

• Analyze inquiries for assistance through use of personal knowledge and reference materials
• Provide responses and take appropriate action to resolve issues
• Monitor inquiries for specific function areas, track progress and resolution
• Develop and maintain liaison with various support agencies, state and local governments, and public and private organizations through the exchange of information
• Establish collaborative working relationships with the previous mentioned entities in order to connect “clients” to appropriate services
• Provide briefings to groups upon request

Recent Accomplishments

Veterans Strong Community Center is proud to be a Bob Woodruff Got Your 6 partner. We were the first organization in CT to have this distinction. We are a Psych Armor Institute certified Veteran Ready organization. We are also a Designated Focal Point for the North Central Area Agency on Aging.

VSCC hosts Salute Dinner in conjunction with the Bristol Veterans Council each May to recognize high school seniors who are entering the military or attending a service academy.  We host a Secret Santa and Valentines for Veterans’ program to recognize our veterans who are in skilled nursing facilities and homebound.
