Capitalism: History’s Gift to Philanthropy
Director of Nonprofit Education & Consulting
I had the pleasure to present at the virtual annual meeting of the National Association of Nonprofits and Executives on April 21st on a topic near and dear to me and to TANGO: Capitalism as history’s gift to philanthropy.
In the presentation I explained the history and intellectual foundations of both philanthropy and capitalism – pointing out, for example, that philanthropy is the much older of the two – and the necessary connections between the two systems.
Here is a link to the NANOE website where you can find your way to my 35 minute presentation if you are interested in learning more.
More From TANGO
Jack Horak presents Capitalism: History’s Gift to Philanthropy at the NANOE’s Board of Governors’ Convention.
Jack discusses one of TANGO’s fundamental principles of supporting both the business sector (capitalism and free enterprise) and philanthropy (the nonprofit sector).
