In just a few days, we will be selecting the recipients of the TANGO Foundation’s annual Nonprofit Rising Star Scholarship Awards — and there is still time to nominate an exceptional employee from your organization.
The TANGO Foundation was created to help develop and support the next generation of nonprofit leadership. Through our scholarship programs, we invest in individuals who demonstrate passion, dedication, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a difference.
If your organization has a team member who is making an impact and showing tremendous promise, we encourage you to nominate them today.
This year, we are proud to offer two scholarship opportunities:
TANGO Foundation Rising Star Scholarships recognize nonprofit professionals who have demonstrated a strong pattern of success and commitment to their mission. Scholarship funds are intended to support continued professional development and help recipients grow their leadership capacity within the nonprofit sector.
CW Resources has partnered with the TANGO Foundation to establish the CW Resources/TANGO Direct Support Professional (DSP) Scholarship Fund. Five scholarships valued at $5,000 each will be awarded to nominees currently serving as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) — individuals who provide care and support to people with disabilities — or to family members of DSPs.
Beyond the financial support, scholarship recipients will also be publicly recognized for their achievements and commitment to the nonprofit community.

We are incredibly proud of the impact these scholarships continue to make in the lives and careers of nonprofit professionals. We also extend our sincere gratitude to CW Resources for their leadership, generosity, and $25,000 contribution in support of the DSP Scholarship Fund.
Scholarship recipients will be honored during Celebrate Nonprofits Night with the Hartford Yard Goats at Dunkin’ Donuts Park on Thursday, June 25, including on-field recognition prior to the game.
