Our first 2026 WTTL session in Troy, NY will take place at the The Arc of Rensselaer where we will have Karen Carpenter, CEO of Vanderheyden Inc. present on her retail shop, named The Vandy which is designed to teach students how to integrate into society through their thrift shop, earn money, and learning all the aspects of a how to run a business.
The outcome has been profitable and more importantly, meaningful by raising awareness and giving students a real chance at success.
During our event, you’ll have the opportunity to mix and mingle prior to Karen offering a brief overview on Vandy. We will then have an open panel discussion on various and relatable topics to encourage interaction.
