Big thanks to all the front line healthcare workers who have made personal sacrifices to care for those in need. It has been impressive to see how we as American’s can rise to all challenges. Thank you again!

This past week has given me hope that we are on the backside of this thing. Infection and hospitalization rates are down, businesses are reopening, the weather is improving, there is even a spirit of optimism in my endless string of daily Zoom meetings.

This feeling could also be fueled by the fact that two of my children have just left home for a 30 day wilderness hike on the Pacific Crest Trail (true social distancing). I guess they’ve had enough “family time”! Phew, back to empty nest status…honestly I already miss them.

We at TANGO and the Schuster Group remain fully staffed to help our many nonprofit members and clients get through this crisis. Over the last two months we have continued to develop programs that save nonprofits money, provide ongoing education and guidance, as well as support organizations in need with donations of money and PPE.

I’d like to recognize and thank our staff for their dedication, they have truly given their all over the last two months to keep us moving forward.

When this ends, and it will, I am confident that we will be stronger for it. Optimism is a powerful attribute and I feel many of us are sharing it these days. So let’s remain focused that we are on the back side of this thing and brighter days lie ahead. Thank you again for your support and stay well!

Best,
Rollin

PS: Over the last couple of weeks we have donated thousands of masks to nonprofits in need. I have recently placed another large order. If your organization is truly in need please let me know. We would be happy to support you during these times.

Social Enterprise In Action

Oak Hill is Connecticut’s largest private nonprofit provider of disability services. For over 130 years, Oak Hill has advanced a mission of equity, independence, and full community inclusion for people of all ages and abilities.

Measuring What Matters: Why Nonprofits Are Rethinking Data

Ask any nonprofit leader what keeps them up at night, and you’ll likely hear a version of the same story: “We’re doing so much but how do we show what’s actually changing?” For years, the sector has relied on numbers that demonstrate activity like how many services delivered, how many people reached, or how many hours logged.
