Getting Noticed!

As many of you know, my insurance brokerage firm The Schuster Group founded TANGO 14 years ago. My intentions were to develop a resource that creates a unique synergy between the for-profit world and the nonprofit sector. I am proud to say that we accomplished that mission, thanks to many of you.

As we entered into 2021 The Schuster Group was acquired by NFP a large, well respected insurance broker with over 200 offices throughout the US and over 40 internationally. We remain the same group of people many of you know, yet we now have more resources to help our clients and the many nonprofits we serve.

What is incredibly exciting for us at TANGO is that with the help of NFP we can begin to create a much larger footprint. Recently I have had the pleasure to speak with quite a few very impressive nonprofit leaders in New York who unanimously agreed that TANGO can help them move their mission forward. We are starting to build the framework for a very active chapter in the New York metro region.

We are also seeing a fairly significant increase in membership inquiries from all around the country, in fact a nonprofit joined today from Beverly Hills, Ca. welcome and thanks for joining the TANGO community all the way from Tinseltown!

What all this means is…we’re getting noticed! And that can’t be bad. I’ve always said that the bigger we get the more we can do to help nonprofits thrive.

So to those of you who have helped spread the word about TANGO, Thank you! It is our commitment to continue to bring more education, preferred services and mission support to our nonprofit members.

Please keep spreading the word. . . we’re on to something special here!

In 2025, TANGO expanded its membership to more than 2,000 nonprofit organizations and extended our geographic footprint, connecting leaders across new regions who share a commitment to building stronger, more sustainable nonprofits.
