Home Stretch for 2020!

Rollin Schuster

Managing Principal, The Schuster Group
President & Founder, TANGO

I don’t know about you, but as soon as Labor Day comes and goes the pace of life accelerates immensely!

Hang on everyone, it’s the home stretch for 2020… a challenging and interesting year indeed.

As we roll into the fall we are busy preparing for TANGO’s premier event, our Annual Building Bridges Conference. Of course it will be done virtually this year which may prove to be appreciated by many. The new normal will enable our TANGO Members to engage with our network of nonprofit experts from the convenience of their office or home. If early registration is any indication, we are way ahead of where we were at this time in years past. Thank you to those who have registered, it’s going to be a great conference.

From my perspective the thing I will miss most is seeing all our friends and clients in person. Growing up my father engrained in me the importance of a firm handshake when greeting friends and business acquaintances. A few years ago I abandoned that for hugs, I think that comes with 30 years of appreciation for the people who believed in me and my wonderful team at the Schuster Group and TANGO. I haven’t figured out how to give a virtual hug yet but hopefully this pandemic will be behind us soon.

One last thought, The TANGO Foundation will be awarding our Rising Star Scholarships soon. If you have a stand out employee within your nonprofit organization that could benefit from additional training please nominate them. We will be investing in a few of the sectors rising stars so they can be that much more impactful within their organization. To nominate someone, please visit our TANGO Foundation page.

I hope to see you (virtually) at our conference on October 21.

Thank you and stay well!.
