The Importance of Listening. . .
Well summer has arrived and with it a true feeling that post pandemic life is upon us. We’re having more face to face meetings and attending events. It’s been so nice to reconnect with people in person.
There was a time when business activity would slow down during the summer but here at TANGO we have a full agenda and many things to do. That being said I’m going to add one more task to my plate and embark on a listening campaign. Over the years we have gotten some of our best ideas from our Member’s suggestions.
As TANGO has grown (now almost 1500 nonprofit members) I don’t have the opportunity to spend as much time with our membership as I once did, plus the pandemic obviously put a damper on much of that. So between my daily meetings I’m going to reach out to a few Members each week to say hi and solicit your ideas on how TANGO can help move your organization forward. If you receive a call from me or an email please grant me a few minutes of your time. My Father always said “you were born with two ears and one mouth…what’s that tell you about the importance of listening!”
