MARC Community Resources
MARC Community Resources is a multifaceted organization serving hundreds of adults living with disabilities through employment, community living, life enrichment day and community-based recreation programs. We envision a world in which all people with disabilities become integral and celebrated members of the community.
Services We Provide!
- Employment – including Transition Services, Group Supported Employment, Individual Supported Employment, Customized Employment and Project SEARCH
- Community Living – including Community Living Arrangement, Continuous Residential Supports, Individualized Residential Supports, and Community Companion Home Models.
- Life Enrichment Day Programs
- Community Based Recreation & Leisure Programs
Recent MARC Accomplishments:
In 2022, MARC Community Resources began partnering with Middlesex Health as a Host Business for our newest Program, Project SEARCH. Project SEARCH is a one-year, Transition-to-Work skills training program for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities that takes place entirely at the workplace. In May of 2023, all seven interns completed the program and applied for, were interviewed, and were offered competitive employment at Middlesex Health resulting in 100% competitive employment placement.
In 2023, the Department of Developmental Services awarded MARC a Cluster Living Program to provide In-home Support Services. MARC is currently working with a developer of a new housing project as well as management at other apartment complexes to start this program.
TANGO’s Impact
TANGO has been great for MARC. The training and networking opportunities are invaluable. TANGO also provides a great sense of community for nonprofits from which our employees and the individuals in our programs benefit.
